The San Antonio Regional Wine Guild (SARWG) was founded on May 16th, 1976, at the Old Standby Saloon in Castroville, Texas. Charlie Suehs had the honor to be elected SARWG's first President, Robert (Bob) Jorrie the first Vice President, and Dorothy Alatorre the first Secretary-Treasurer. They paved the way, and we are grateful. SARWG normally meets the third Sunday of each month except November (the Executive Council meets instead) and December (first Sunday), or when scheduling problems require an alternative, as below.
